Terms of service
These terms cover what we do, what we charge, and the limits of what any preparation service can promise. Plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
What we provide
NRI Paper Desk prepares applications and supporting checklists for Indian consular services. We review your documents, complete forms, check photographs against published specifications and explain the process. You remain the applicant throughout.
What we are not
NRI Paper Desk is an independent preparation service. We are not affiliated with VFS Global, BLS International, Al Hind, any Indian consulate or High Commission, or the Government of India. Government and application-centre fees are paid by you, directly to them.
We do not provide legal, immigration or tax advice. Nothing on this site is advice about your individual circumstances, and government rules can change without notice.
Fees and payment
Our fee is flat, quoted before work begins, and payable in advance. Government, welfare fund and application centre fees are separate and paid by you directly to those bodies. We never collect them on their behalf.
Our guarantee
If an application is returned or rejected because of an error we made in the preparation, we redo that preparation at no charge. We cannot refund government fees, because we never held them, and we cannot guarantee any particular decision or timeline from a government body.
Your responsibilities
The information and documents you give us must be accurate and your own. We cannot be responsible for outcomes that follow from inaccurate information, or from documents altered after we reviewed them.
Limitation
Our liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fee you paid us for that engagement.
